Has counseled clients internationally in respect of corporate strategy,
acquisitions and corporate litigation involving theft of trade secrets, contested
takeovers, breaches of fiduciary duty, commercial contract disputes, employment
issues and other matters. He has defended officers, directors and others
sued by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and commercial entities
sued for environmental contamination.
Mr. Harris was a partner with an international law firm headquartered in
New York before becoming a founding member of his present firm located in
Century City, California. He has lectured concerning the liability of officers
and directors and the liability of individuals dealing with federally insured
lending institutions for the Bar Association.
Retained by numerous companies to assist and advise board level management
in major litigation throughout the United States and Europe. Assisted Chairman
and CEO of public companies, and others with acquisitions, contested control
and securities litigation. Has been retained in connection with proceedings
before the International Chamber of Commerce and American Arbitration Association.
